Hands down the best quinoa tabbouleh EVER! Now Serving catered our event at The HIT Locker and it was delicious! Paul was so helpful with set up and discussing the presentation of all the dishes, silverware, tables, etc. Just awesome. Thank you!

Stopped in for a quick bite before heading into the city. Ordered a side of the gouda Mac n cheese because I was craving something creamy and cheesy. Boy did that hit the spot! The side was big enough to share and was laden with creamy cheese. Felt like a meal my mother would have made before she started counting calories and being obsessed with healthy diets. Sometimes you just need a stick to your sides delicious meal. Can hopefully try some other items in the future.

Not sure if I'd order a meal here based on the mediocre reviews, but I did enjoy my mango smoothie the first time I stopped in. I'll give their coffee a try next time I decide to visit.

We live really close to Now Serving and have gone here a few times to have lunch and use the free WiFi when our home power and/or Internet was out. The food is very good, but the portions are a bit small for the price.

I've ordered from Now Serving twice off of delivery.com . Both times the food has taken over an hour and a half to get to me from the time of ordering. I am not ordering a ridiculous amount of food (4 people for lunch) and I order in plenty of time for the food to arrive. I have to take lunch at a certain time, and have had to miss my lunch both times because of the delay. The reason they aren't receiving on star from me is that the food is decent and was hot the first time we ordered. The 2nd time we ordered some of the food was warm (the burgers) but the sides and other sandwiches were lukewarm at best. My burger was also cooked incorrectly and had mustard which I specifically asked not be included because I do not like it. We gave them a second chance because they told us they were short staffed on the first order. This time around, they did not apologize for being late and added "We cater for surgeons in Hinsdale." What does that have to do with my food or my order? I paid for my food the same as any one else. I don't think I will be ordering delivery from them again, as I cannot wait over 2 hours for my lunch to arrive, be lukewarm and be wrong. If you cannot deliver by the time indicated, I don't think you should offer a delivery service. If they could fix their delivery time issues, I would most likely order from them again, but I'm not going to take that chance until I know I will get it in a timely manner without pathetic excuses as to why it is late.

Now Serving Cafe is a restaurant listed on GrubHub. I dine frequently in LaGrange and haven't heard/seen this place. Food arrived hot and very fast. We ordered the Cobb salad, Gouda mac and cheese, quesodilla, sweet potato fries and the Club wrap. The mac and cheese was delicious. Runaway favorite of the bunch. Everything else was just ok. I don't think I would order from them again.

Great place to grab a coffee or little snack or any meal. Breakfast, lunch or dinner. Prices are reasonable and food is delicious. Love to go here when subbing at LT too.

We used Now Serving as our venue for our rehearsal dinner and we could not have been more pleased with the service, the atmosphere, and the food. When we were first considering going with Now Serving for our rehearsal dinner, Paul set up an entire tasting dinner for us with full amounts of every single course that he planned on serving for the dinner itself. He let us try every single option for salad dressing, pasta sauce, and items we could add to the make your own pasta bar. We even got to try some of the wine and beer that we planned on serving that night. He took detailed notes even down to the details of my favorite kind of wine and the fact that my husband doesn't like tomatoes in his salad. He let us customize each course to the items and choices that we wanted, rather than forcing us to stick to a certain menu. The night of the rehearsal dinner, he let us rent out the entire café for our dinner. There was a gorgeous spread of beer and wine and also a huge pasta bar. The chefs cooked the pasta right in front of our guests with all the ingredients that they chose on the spot. The entire café was also decorated with our green color for our wedding and a sign that had our names on it to further personalize the café for us. Paul and his staff were attentive to our every single need, and we are so thrilled that we chose them for our rehearsal dinner location.

Sweet train facing street side café, deli, and catering company. Excellent menu, good food! I really like this place and have for a long time. They offer great smoothies, sandwiches, wraps, dinners to go, all with kind and helpful service. Spacious dining area, free drink refills, and, a nice place to relax and read a paper. They also do a great job as caterers. Attention to details, tasty bites, buffet perfection guaranteed! Keep serving Now Serving! Good cooking is an art. If Pollack chopped onions and Van Gogh made smoothies and Picasso made meatloaf, they would all do it at Now Serving :)

First timer here. Decided to order delivery and give this place a shot. I'm very happy with my choice as evidenced by my sudden urge to come on to yelp and give them 5 stars. Delivery time was what they promised, bonus was the courteous delivery driver. Food was fantastic. I loved everything I ordered. Gouda Mac is a must try! 5/5 will order again!

Our group was headed to downtown Chicago for an evening lawn picnic and concert at Millennium Park so thought this would be a great opportunity to give Now Serving a try. We ordered some chicken caesar, roasted vegetable, club wraps and a BLT sandwich (more on this in a minute) to bring along. Club wrap was very good, Chicken on the chicken caesar was overcooked and very dry, roasted vegetable or perhaps this should be re-named as the lettuce wrap had virtually no vegetables, roasted or otherwise. For the price paid, there is no reason to skimp on the veggies! Now for the BLT sandwich....we wanted a BLT wrap but were told it was not on the menu and therefore we could not get a BLT wrap but since a BLT sandwich was on the menu, we would need to get that instead. Don't get me wrong, the BLT sandwich made with fresh baked bread was very good, but if the Customer wants it, put it in a tortilla. 2.5 stars.

I remember this place from when I was in high school, so needless to say, it's been around for a while. It also used to be just a hole in the wall, but now has a pretty sizable dining room. The setting is classy casual with a nice view of the train tracks. All the sandwiches are made to order, so they take a few minutes, but totally worth it. We ordered a grilled cheese recently which was big and very cheesy and I had the Southwest bean wrap and it was awesome! A great veggie treat with a kick. The prices are very reasonable, the grilled cheese was 3.50 and the wrap was 4.95. Sides don't come with but for a buck or two you can pick up pasta salad or fruit. They also have some good soups and from what I understand cater as well. Nice to see they are still around, and the quality has definitely picked up.

I really like this place. It is close by me and a quick stop. It can get busy at lunch so I either go at off hours or call ahead. I do not go there that often for lunch I have new work schedule, but Paul (the owner) always remembers me and is very friendly. He really tries to make the extra effort for his customers. My favorite things to order is the Chicken Caesar wrap, the Ensalada Rusa and soup. The chicken caesar wrap is consistently good with moist chicken, crispy romaine, a few dollops of dressings and a fresh tortilla bun. I have never had a tuna salad with potatoes but the Ensalada rusa is delicious. The potatoes add a slightly creamy texture to the dish. It also has peas and mayo. Sometimes I order it by the pound instead of a sandwich. The challah bread is a good compliment to the sandwich if I am in the mood for a sandwich. The soups are always homemade and delicious. The cream of mushroom soup, tortilla soup or the cream of oven roasted chicken and corn are my favorites. I like their pasta salad, but it is not always consistent. If I am ordering a tub of it, I try it first. I also really like the decor now. It used to be such a small place, but now it is expanded with more tables and wall design.

I don't know what the other two reviewers are thinking. I stopped in for a sandwich today and it was so plain. I ordered a cold roast beef sandwich, I wasn't given any choices for toppings like at a deli so I just went with the sandwich on the menu. Big mistake! It had no mayo, mustard, or anything. It was just three slices of roast beef, one slice of lettuce and bread. So dry it was actually hard to eat. The woman taking orders was not very friendly and she looked like she just rolled out of bed. I will not be going back to this place anytime soon and my advice is to skip the plain food and bad service.

Great litlle place. The sandwiches are great, the soup looking awesome. Very reasonable priced, self serve fountain drinks. Check it out, if you are in the area. You won't be disappointed. They even do catering.....

I have primarily used NS cafe for catering rather than dining in. I haven't ordered extensively off the catering menu but I always order the bacon-wrapped crostini breadsticks and they are the first thing to go every year. People rave about them! The owner, Paul is very friendly and easy to work with. Oh yeah- the smoothies are great too! I would definitely recommend NS cafe to others.

Wow, best Cream of Chicken and Rice soup EVER. Also, the Cuban pork sandwich is really yummy. It's not traditional - but I really enjoyed the sweetness to this sandwich. I love that the sandwiches we've ordered, are made to order and the service is A+. Don't just walk by - make sure to stop in. This is my new favorite lunch spot.

Went there the other day and we both got a platter... she the turkey sandwich and a side and I got the BBQ and a side... and we both had sodas. It was $17. Ok, $16.xx but still... the food was good but not worth $17 for two sandwiches, two sides and two drinks. That's crazy. We'll be back for their smoothies but not for meals.

Not so good. My family and I went this evening as my daughter's school was hosting a 'Shop and Share' event to raise funds. We waited in line 10 minutes for the one person in front of us to get rung up, then waited 20 minutes to get our order. The average staff age was 16, and we really only saw one young girl taking orders, preparing food, and serving. As for the food itself, it was decent, but probably not something we would go back for. My husband had the soup, which he didn't care for AT ALL, and he is not picky. I had a pulled pork sandwich, which was tasty, but very messy, for which we were not given napkins OR silverware. We also ordered 2 sets of French fries. When they were brought out, the girl says, "Here's the sweet potato fries". When I told her we ordered regular fries, she tells me that's all they have, that they ran out of regular fries, she guesses. What am I going to say now that they're brought out, I want a refund? Not professional! We were actually considering ordering catering for the holidays, but not now. Who knows if we'd actually get what we ordered, and if napkins or plasticware would even be provided!

Been here many times and have always had great service and food. Paul is very friendly. It doesn't matter how long it's been since my last visit, he always remembers my name. Love the lunch specials... very affordable with chips/drink. My favorite sandwiches are the Turkey Club Wrap, Chicken Caesar Wrap, Chicken Salad (with almonds/grapes... amazing!!) and the Southern Fire. Their take home dinners are awesome too... way more flavorful and healthy than any fast food dinner.

This is a nice little cafe, and it seems to be getting better all the time! They have a pretty standard menu of sandwiches, soups and salads, but they have a few unique dishes. Also, almost everything is made completely from scratch! A few of my all time favorites are the Chicken Caesar Wrap, Southern Fire Sandwich, Chicken Almond Grape Salad, Broccoli Fiesta Salad and Cream of Oven-Roasted Corn and Chicken Soup. As for catering, their menu is quite extensive and they try to fit your order to your exact needs. The owner is in the cafe almost every day and loves getting to know his customers, and if you're a regular, sometimes you'll get special treatment (like free food!)!
